Predominately Mencía with a smattering of other varieties such as Alicante Bouschet, Trousseau and Palomino. This comes from different parcels of very, very old vines (90-125 years) planted in the sandy clay soils of Valtuille de Abajo. It is a classic joven style, fermented with native yeasts and aged in stainless steel. The intention here is to clearly and directly transmit the terroir of this special village.
