Predominately Listán Blanco, Trenzado comes from various parcels on the western side of the Valle de la Orotava D.O., from vines ranging in age from 10-150 years. The majority of these vines are worked in the cordon trenzado, a training system which is unique to the Orotava valley. The wine ferments in a combination of large oak foudres (2,500L & 4,500L) and used 500L French barrels.
