100% Vijariego Negro from paraje of Cruz Santa, a west-facing site at 500 meters above sea level. Fermentation proceeds spontaneously with native yeasts and whole clusters in plastic bins. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is racked into used 500L French barrels for malolactic and an additional 10 months of élevage.
