Predominately Listán Negro with a small complement of Castellana Negra. The grapes for this bottling come from approximately 35 parcels with vines ranging in age from 10 to 180 years and altitudes from 250 to 800 meters above sea level. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in concrete tanks. 70% of the wine remains in these tanks for malolactic and further aging, while the remainder is transferred to used 500L barrels to undergo those processes.
