100% organically-farmed Rufete from a few small plots planted on granite and schist soils. Rufete is believed to be of Portuguese origin. It tends to produce light-bodied wines characterized by floral aromas. This ferments spontaneously with native yeasts in 420L chestnut barrels. It remains in these same barrels for malolactic fermentation and another ten months of élevage.
